On September 20, 2024, TESDA Abra Acting Provincial Director Belmar G. Angoling conducted a Career Talk to the Grades 9–12 students of Cristina B. Gonzales Memorial High School as part of the Career Guidance Week with the theme, “Follow the Guide, Tag a Career, Like the Future.”
APD Angoling talked about the different scholarships that graduating students can avail of from TESDA. He stressed the importance and significance of skills training in choosing a career path. Likewise, he emphasized the importance of skills in today’s workforce. “As long as you possess the skills and abilities, you will have the potential to thrive wherever you go because skills are the new currency,” he also concluded.
DOST Abra and DOLE Abra also presented the programs and services of their respective agencies.
