A two-day event was coordinated by TESDA Provincial Training Center – Benguet (PTC Benguet), in partnership with TESDA Provincial Office Benguet (TESDA PO Benguet), on October 15 and 16, 2025, for the distribution of toolkits to Masonry NC II graduates. The event was held in two locations, Barangay Tuding, Itogon, and Kapangan Municipal Gym, ensuring that they had convenient access to their training resources.

The activity forms part of TESDA’s Special Training for Employment Program (STEP), which provides free skills training with corresponding starter toolkits to help trainees immediately apply their competencies in livelihood or entrepreneurship. Each trainee received a 360-degree digital green light laser self-leveling measuring tool, an essential instrument for masonry work.

A total of 35 trainees benefited from the distribution, equipping them with the necessary tools to practice their skills, gain employment, or start their own livelihood ventures. Through this initiative, TESDA continues to bridge opportunities for lifelong learning and livelihood advancement.

Programs like STEP reaffirm TESDA’s commitment to providing practical support that strengthens livelihood opportunities and builds a skilled and empowered Filipino workforce in the province of Benguet.
