A four-day Community-Based Training (CBT) on Light Vehicle Driving successfully concluded on January 10, 2025, at Bekes, Buyacaoan, Buguias, Benguet, where trainees were recognized for completing the training, held from January 7 to 10.

The training equipped 20 residents from Mankayan and Buguias with basic driving skills. It included theoretical seminar in Buyacaoan, Buguias, and a practical driving session in Ambabag, Mankayan.
TESDA Benguet Acting Provincial Director Arlene L. Cadalig collaborated with the Company Advisory Group for Police Transportation and Development (CAGPTD), chaired by Hon. Ronald Kimakim, who initiated the program. Benguet 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company (Benguet 1st PMFC), led by PLTCOL Peter Conrad Bangsoy, coordinated the training together with Cordillera Brotherhood Transport Service Multi-Purpose Cooperative (CBTSMPC), under the supervision of trainer Clifford Batnag.
Benguet 1st PMFC covered fuel and food expenses, CBTSMPC lent their training car, and TESDA Benguet funded honoraria for the trainer, ensuring the smooth execution of the training. This partnership has helped residents enhance their driving skills and road safety knowledge.
