RDC CAR Resolution No. 45 Series of 2024 calls on all regional line agencies, local government units, State Universities and Colleges, government bureaus/departments, non-government, and private organizations in the Cordillera Administrative Region to actively participate in the 37th Commemorative Cordillera Month this July 2024. In compliance with this directive, TESDA-CSITE, Kalinga Campus actively participated in the event titled “Harmony in Heritage: CSITE-Kalinga Campus Cordillera Month Program Fostering Multiculturalism for Regional Autonomy and Development,” held on July 16, 2024, at CSITE Kalinga Campus Park.
The event was divided into two segments. The first part included a solemn prayer and the national anthem, followed by a Zumba session. The second part began with an acknowledgement by Ms. Ninjune T. Belit, TESD Specialist II, followed by welcoming remarks from Ms. Cherry O. Sicnawa, TESD Specialist II, and an inspirational message from Mr. Sherwin C. Bali, Acting Administrator.
The program highlights the Cultural Presentation and Indigenous sports/games. The participants included trainees from Masonry NC I, Tile Setting NC II, and Driving NC II. Each group presented unique and entertaining performances during the Cultural Presentation. Then, it was followed by Indigenous sports or games such as Sack Race (Relay), Kadang-Kadang (Relay), Coffee Drinking, and Tug of War.
The activity was a joyful success for the Masonry NC I trainees, who emerged as the overall champions, followed by the Tile Setting NC II and Driving NC II trainees. The program concluded with remarks from Ms. Ma. Erlinda T. Noval, Senior TESD Specialist of TESDA-Kalinga.
