The Provincial Training Center of Benguet (PTC Benguet) participated in a strategic meeting centered on the 2024 Results of the Cities and Municipalities Competitiveness Index (CMCI) Survey last October 31, 2024, at the Sangguniang Bayan Hall, Kapangan, Benguet. This meeting offered an insightful overview of Kapangan’s performance in various categories, especially highlighting its outstanding achievements in resilience wherein the Municipality of Kapangan was recognized with the prestigious Resiliency Award.

During the session, Kapangan’s local leaders and department heads, along with representatives from various National Government Agencies, including PTC Benguet Center Administrator Ferdinand B. Montañez, gathered to analyze the municipality’s accomplishments and discuss areas for further enhancement.

PTC Benguet, as a key participant, expressed its commitment to supporting Kapangan’s efforts in promoting advanced economic development and nurturing an emerging creative sector. The PTC Benguet will continue to provide essential data for the success of Kapangan’s annual CMCI Survey, including the annual percentages of Technical Vocational (Tech Voc) graduates and employment statistics, and will also focus on enhancing its skills competencies to better support Kapangan’s development initiatives.
