Barlig, Mountain Province — A four-day skills training on venue preparation and logistics for events was carried out on September 15–18, 2025, at the 4th floor of the LGU Barlig building. The activity was organized by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Mountain Province in partnership with the Municipal Government of Barlig and the Provincial Government of Mountain Province.

The training was facilitated by Jenny A. Yandoc, a community-based trainer, who guided the participants through practical lessons on setting up venues, arranging logistics, and supporting activities for both official and community events. Participants also tackled topics on managing client needs and ensuring that programs run smoothly from start to finish.

To further enhance their learning, the group went on an exposure visit to Laloutte Inn in Sagada, where they observed actual preparations and facility arrangements done in a hospitality setting.

The training was designed not only to improve the efficiency of workplace and community activities but also to provide skills that could open opportunities in the growing field of events management and hospitality.
