Acting Provincial Director Arlene L. Cadalig of TESDA Benguet paid a courtesy visit to Mayor Juan L. Esnara at the Municipal Hall in Acop, Caponga, Tublay, on August 14, 2025, to deepen collaboration on grassroots skills development.

The meeting centered on discussions about skills training programs through the Community-Based Training (CBT) approach in the municipality. PD Cadalig also extended an invitation for Tublay’s participation in the World Café of Opportunities (WCO), an event that showcases various pathways for skills development, entrepreneurship, and employment through partnerships with government agencies and private enterprises.

The purposive visit also underscores TESDA’s ongoing efforts to foster strong linkages with local government units to achieve community-driven training programs, aligned with the goals of the agency to institutionalize the local TVET system.

Also in attendance were TESDA Benguet Senior TESD Specialist Romar Agpes and CTEC-Tublay, who also expressed support for expanding local training initiatives in Tublay.
