TESDA Benguet Acting Provincial Director Arlene L. Cadalig delivered an insightful message, reminding scholars of their responsibilities as recipients of the scholarship program, particularly the importance of ensuring the accuracy and completeness of their personal information. She emphasized that common issues such as misspelled names and incorrect email addresses often lead to delays in the release of training allowances and the issuance of National Certificates (NC).

She also encouraged scholars to inform their school or the TESDA office once they gain employment, as this information is essential for tracking and evaluating the outcomes of TESDA’s training programs.

โ€œOur goal isnโ€™t only to provide scholarships and training. We hope you apply what youโ€™ve learned and use your skills in actual work. Once youโ€™re employed, please update your school or TESDAโ€”this helps us track your progress and success,โ€ she added.

APD Cadalig further urged the scholars to complete their training, be proactive in addressing concerns, and not hesitate to seek help or clarification when needed.

The TIP was facilitated by the provincial scholarship focal, Julie Ann Ladiong, who provided a comprehensive orientation on the benefits of the program, the scholarsโ€™ responsibilities, and key compliance requirements.
