On January 28, 2025, the Federation of the Kibungan Womenโs Organization, in partnership with the Igorota Foundation and LGU-Kibungan, hosted the Womenโs Agenda Launch and Womenโs Congress at the Municipal Gymnasium in Poblacion, Kibungan, Benguet. The event, attended by over 200 participants, aimed to empower women and address the identified critical issues and concerns affecting them in Kibungan.

TESDA Benguet Acting Provincial Director Arlene L. Cadalig attended the event as a panelist alongside representatives from line agencies, sharing valuable insights on TESDAโs programs and services to support womenโs growth and skills development.
APD Cadalig highlighted TESDAโs commitment to women through its various programs, including Institution-Based Training (IBT), mobile training, and Community-Based Training (CBT), which provide accessible training opportunities. She also discussed the streamlined process for requesting training and the range of TESDA programs implemented in collaboration with LGU Kibungan.
The event emphasized the importance of technical education and skills development in empowering women to take on leadership roles and contribute actively to their communities.
TESDAโs support is an integral part of fostering a more inclusive and empowered society for women in Benguet. Through such initiatives, TESDA continues to be a strong advocate for the upliftment of women in the province.
