On February 20, 2026, the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) formalized a partnership with Benguet State University (BSU) through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing ceremony held at the BSU Office of the President, Admin Building, Km. 5, La Trinidad, Benguet.
The agreement was signed by TESDA CAR Acting Regional Director Glenn N. Murphy and TESDA Benguet Acting Provincial Director Arlene L. Cadalig, together with BSU President Kenneth A. Laruan and BSU Director for the Office of Student Services Erlyn Honeylette C. Marquez.
The initiative, titled โAduyonan: Sustainable Livelihood for Economic Stability,โ specifically aims to uplift the motivation of these learners/participants to pursue and succeed in life. Thus, to provide equal and equitable access to educational opportunities, especially to those who lack motivation to explore job possibilities due to special circumstances they are facing. Through this agreement, both institutions reaffirm their commitment to preparing students for employment, entrepreneurship, and lifelong learning.

Also present during the ceremony was the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), represented by Provincial Director Felicitas O. Bandonill and Jessie Cris Laboy, who likewise participated in the MOA signing with BSU, further strengthening the multi-agency collaboration for entrepreneurship and enterprise development within the university.
