On May 30, 2024, the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority – Cordillera Administrative Region (TESDA-CAR) actively participated in the Culminating Program of the FIESTA sa Barangay TESDA held at the TESDA Central Office. The event featured a vibrant array of activities celebrating the cultural heritage and talents within the TESDA community.
One of the highlights was the Santacruzan, where TESDA-CAR was proudly represented by Denzel Shane B. Bondoc from the Regional Operations Division, who embodied Reyna Fe, escorted by Restituto K. Odasing from the TESDA-CSITE Main Campus.
Following the Santacruzan, the program continued with the highly anticipated Tawag ng Tanghalan sa TESDA, showcasing the musical talents within the organization. The event was further highlighted by the Cultural Dance Competition, where students from TESDA-CSITE demonstrated their exceptional skills and cultural heritage through a captivating dance performance. Their dedication and talent earned them an impressive 3rd place in the competition, showcasing their deep connection to the rich traditions of the Cordilleras.
In addition to the performances, TESDA-CAR set up a booth that displayed an array of Cordilleran food and non-food products, captivating the attendees with the regionโs rich cultural offerings. The booth featured products such as Kape Kalinga, Roasted Arabica Coffee, Muscovado, Inladit, Vinegar, Strawberry Jam, Banana Chips, whisk brooms, hard brooms, Baguio flowers, and crispy vegetables.
The event demonstrated TESDA-CAR’s dedication to promoting and maintaining Cordilleran culture, as well as showcasing its members’ abilities and talents.
