A send-off celebration for the TESDA-CAR delegates was held on August 19, 2024, at the TESDA-CSITE Main Campus, Military Cut-Off, Baguio City. The event was organized to boost the morale of the delegates who will represent the Cordillera region in the Philippine National Skills Competition (PNSC) from August 21-25, 2024.

The celebration was officially opened by TESDA Benguet Acting Provincial Director Arlene L. Cadalig, who welcomed the attendees with encouraging words. During the ceremony, TESDA CAR Regional Director Balmyrson M. Valdez and TESDA-CSITE Executive Director Daisy C. Bungallon delivered inspiring messages. They expressed their wholehearted support for the delegates as they got ready to demonstrate their skills at a national level.

Adding to the motivation were Atty. Betty Lourdes Tabanda, Chair of the Regional Technical Education and Skills Development Committee-CAR and previous PNSC gold winners Allen C. Gacweng and Joshua F. Lizardo, delivered a powerful message of inspiration. Gacweng and Lizardo shared valuable insights and words of encouragement to the delegates.

The event served as a significant morale booster for the TESDA-CAR team, who are set to represent the region with pride and determination. The PNSC is anticipated to showcase exceptional talent and skill, with participants from across the country competing in various skill areas.
