The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority โ€“ Cordillera State Institute of Technical Education (TESDAโ€“CSITE) actively participated in the nationwide 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC) from November 25 to December 12, 2025. CSITE campuses and the Executive Office led advocacy walks, educational exhibits, skills demonstrations, and interactive sessions with local authorities to raise awareness on gender equality, womenโ€™s rights, and child protection.

Across the Cordillera, campuses implemented initiatives that combined education with empowerment. CSITE Ifugao conducted advocacy walks and IEC sessions on legal protections under RA 9262 and RA 11313. Mountain Province highlighted women in traditionally male-dominated trades and hosted a Wall of Commitment. Abra organized forums and pledge-signing activities, while CSITE Kalinga conducted campaign launch and wellness-focused information sessions and was recognized as a Mother-Baby Friendly Workplace. The Main Campus and Executive Office reinforced advocacy through a VAW walk at Camp John Hay, a Zumba session, fellowship lunch, and campus-wide display of banners and audiovisual materials.

Through these activities, TESDAโ€“CSITE strengthened gender-responsive education, promoted safe and inclusive spaces, and fostered solidarity among staff and trainees, setting an example for communities across the region.
