Bontoc, Mountain Province — The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Mountain Province Provincial Office expressed its appreciation to the Provincial Government of Mountain Province, through the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, for the approval on third and final reading of an ordinance institutionalizing the financial assistance to TESDA, increasing the allocation from Php 500,000 to Php 1,000,000.

The ordinance, which was first read on March 30, 2026, was approved during the 37th Regular Session held on April 7, 2026.

TESDA Mountain Province noted that the initiative reflects the Provincial Government’s continued support for technical vocational education and training in the province, which has consistently provided annual financial assistance to support the implementation of various skills training programs.

During the same session, TESDA Mountain Province presented its accomplishment report, highlighting the utilization of the Provincial Government Assistance for Fiscal Year 2025. The report included the implementation of various training programs conducted in different communities across the province.

TESDA Mountain Province reaffirmed its commitment to sustaining and expanding its partnership with the Provincial Government in delivering accessible, inclusive, and industry-responsive skills training programs aimed at improving employability and livelihood opportunities.
