ESDA–Mountain Province, headed by Provincial Director Felixberto B. Matute, Jr., officially opened the Community-Based Training (CBT) in Food Processing in Besao, Mountain Province, on August 11, 2025.

The training, scheduled from August 11 to 15, 2025, is supervised by Linda M. David and carried out in partnership with LGU–Besao and the Provincial Government of Mountain Province. 20 farmers from the locality are taking part in the program, which aims to provide them with practical skills that can be used for additional livelihood and income generation.

While in Besao, PD Matute also made a courtesy visit to Mayor Bryne O. Bacwaden, where he discussed key TESDA programs such as Area Based Demand Driven Granularized Skills Training, Enterprise-Based Education and Training, and SHS Certification, with the goal of further strengthening cooperation in skills development.
