On August 27, 2025, the Provincial Training Center – Benguet (PTC Benguet) assisted the TESDA Provincial Office Benguet (PO Benguet) in the distribution of the Training Support Fund (TSF) to 43 beneficiaries under the Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP).

The distribution was held in two locations: the first was at Barangay Tuding, Itogon, where 21 scholars under Carpentry NC II received their initial 50% TSF, and the second location was at the Kibungan Municipal Hall, where 22 scholars under Masonry NC I were granted their full TSF benefit as part of their training benefits.

The TSF plays a vital role in supporting scholars, especially those from remote areas and low-income families, by helping them shoulder transportation costs, meals, and other daily needs while completing their training. For the Carpentry NC II scholars in Itogon, the partial release ensures they have the means to sustain their training until completion. Meanwhile, the Masonry NC I graduates in Kibungan received full support as they prepare to enter the workforce. By easing financial burdens, the TSF enables more scholars to complete their training, which then equips them with valuable skills that open doors to employment and livelihood opportunities.

This initiative of TESDA and PTC Benguet ensures that no scholar is left behind due to financial challenges and reinforces TESDA’s mission of making skills training accessible and life-changing for all.
