A total of one hundred seventy-five (175) starter toolkits under the Special Training for Employment Program (STEP) were distributed on September 21, 2024, at BBM Center, Bangued, Abra.
Cong. Menchie โChingโ Bernos and TESDA Abra Acting Provincial Director Belmar G. Angoling awarded the starter toolkits.
The recipients of the starter toolkits were the graduates of the FY 2023 STEP, which includes Driving NC I, Carpentry NC II, Electrical Installation and Maintenance NC II, Shielded Metal Arc Welding NC I and II of TESDA-CSITE Abra Campus; Cookery NC II, Prepare and Cook Hot Meals (Leading to Cookery NC II), and Bread and Pastry Production NC II of Data Center College of the Philippines of Bangued, Abra, Inc.; and Bread and Pastry Production NC II from Mt. Carmel Agri-Tourism and Training Center, Inc.
During the program, Mr. Jujiemar T. Rigor, Technical Staff of TESDA Abra, conducted a Training Induction Program (TIP) for the upcoming one hundred fourteen (114) FY 2024 STEP scholars.
