Thirteen individuals from Alangigan, Apayao, have successfully completed an entrepreneurship training program focused on the solar industry. The training, held on August 19, 2024, equipped participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to launch and manage successful Solar-related businesses after completing their training in Assembly of Solar Night Light and Post lamp.
The training program covered a wide range of topics, including business planning, financial management, customer service, and marketing. A highlight of the training was Ms. Torida’s insightful presentation on creating a financial plan for solar businesses.
Ms. Torida, TESDA PTC Apayao Financial Analyst, provided practical advice on calculating potential income, managing expenses, and achieving financial stability. “[Quote from Ms. Torida about the importance of financial planning in driving businesses],” said Ms. Torida. “[Quote about the specific strategies she shared with participants for calculating income and managing expenses].”
This training is expected to empower participants to confidently pursue entrepreneurial ventures in the construction sector. “I felt overwhelmed by the idea of managing finances and dealing with customers and after learning about business planning and financial management, I feel much more confident. I now have a clear plan for how to start my driving service and I’m excited to put my skills into practice,” said [Marjorie G. Bunagan]. “It was practically helpful for all of us .”
