Cawayan, Asipulo– Twenty-five TWSP scholars had successfully completed their training and competency assessment in Masonry NC I last June 15-20, 2021 held at barangay Cawayan, Asipulo, Ifugao.

The trainees are composed of priority target beneficiaries like Covid-19 displaced workers, former rebels under E.O No. 70 and Indigenous People (IPs).

Barangay Cawayan is one of the identified Retooled Community Support Program (RCSP) barangay in the province, in line with E.O No 70 also known as the Whole-of-Nation Approach.

The trainees were trained by TESDA experts Ric Agnapan and Denis Dumangeng. The trainees managed to perform the following unit of basic competencies, Common competencies and core competencies of Masonry NC I. The trainees managed to construct a wash area to be used by the pupils of Cawayan Elementary School.

TESDA Ifugao and in partnership with LGU-Asipulo will conduct a step-up training in Masonry NC II and Carpentry NC II in the upcoming months.
