May 11, 2023 // TESDA-Mt. Province formally commenced the Community Based Training in Design Conceptualization and Color Combination at Can-eo, Bontoc, Mt. Province.

This training is in partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry thru its Negosyo Center Bontoc and the Provincial Government of Mt. Province under its Barangay Muna Program.

This training aims to upgrade the skills of the loom woven products. Moreover, with such skills, the proponents, most especially the younger generations can expand the number of products out of their woven produce and will not only focus on their cultural attires of the town or the province but with use of the new designs conceptualized. 15 participants from the community will be joining the three days training program which will run from May 11-13, 2023.

It will be handled by Ms. Rose Ann B. Wangdali, a well-known practitioner in weaving. Ms. Christine Oliquiano , Senior TESDS/CBT focal oriented on the different programs and services of the agency. Hence, reminding the proponents of their commitments as beneficiaries of the program. Meanwhile, Mr. Stryke Fabaan from the DTI-MP, Ms. Jocelyn Cullaling, and Ms. June Vera Villanueva from the PGO were present to grace the activity. WKMF
