Sacasacan, Sadanga was one of the barangays devastated by the July 27, 2022 earthquake. Heavy rains aggravated the situation. The TESDA MPPO and PTC staff visited the site last August 16, 2022. The group had a meeting with the barangay officials, community leaders, MSWDO staff, and MDRRM staff. It was agreed that the barangay officials and the community leaders will identify a place to conduct training in Masonry and Carpentry. Output will be a core shelter where affected families can transfer. As of now, the affected families transferred in vacant houses and some went to their houses in the nearby city and municipalities. Acting Provincial Director Felixberto B. Matute Jr. and Provincial Training Center Proserphina P. Pacyado assessed the damages and what training to be offered.
