BAGUIO CITY — Trainers from the Cordillera State Institute of Technical Education (CSITE) recently gathered to review and enhance the institute’s curriculum, ensuring programs are aligned with industry demands, sustainability practices, and 21st Century skills to prepare graduates to be job-ready and future-ready.
CSITE Main Campus instructors and professors from the Military Cut-Off and Loakan Annex participated in a two-day review to evaluate and enhance diploma programs. A major highlight was the Greening of Curriculum initiative, emphasizing the integration of sustainability across all programs in line with the Philippine Green Jobs Act of 2016. Curricula in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Supervision, Mechanical Engineering Technology, and Electrical Engineering Technology were carefully assessed to ensure relevance, innovation, and responsiveness to workforce needs.

Simultaneously, the CSITE Mountain Province Campus reviewed Competency-Based Curricula for Masonry NC II, SMAW NC II, and OAP NC II. The activity focused on embedding 21st Century Skills, Green TVET concepts, and Supervised Industry Learning (SIL) to equip graduates with practical, industry-aligned skills and knowledge.

These curriculum reviews reflect CSITE’s commitment to continuous improvement, producing graduates who are not only job-ready today but also capable of driving innovation and sustainable growth in their respective industries.
