The Cordillera State Institute of Technical Education Main Campus (CSITE) – Main Library celebrated the 90th National Book Week with the theme, “Magbasa, Mangarap, Magdiwang.”

The CSITE Main Librarian Jovie Agway hosted the said activity which comprised a book fair, which was also featured by the Philippine Information Agency-Cordillera Administrative Region, a two-day reading and public speaking skills training on November 26 and 27 and a contest proper consisting of a cosplay competition, jingle competition, and a book-themed contest last November 29.

The CSITE Main Registrar Vilma W. Tolarba on her message said, “Habang ipinagdidiriwang natin and lingo ng aklatan, alalahanin natin na ang mga aklatan ay hindi lamang lugar para paghiraman ng mga libro, kundi mga santuwaryo ng posibilidad.”

National Book Week is celebrated every November in the Philippines. This annual observance aims to promote reading, enhance literacy, and highlight the importance of libraries.
