Forty (40) Uniformed Personnel of 503^rd Infantry (Peace and Justice) Brigade, 5^th Infantry Division, Philippine Army has actively listened to Ms. Madeleine W. Lomeng, Senior TESD Specialist of TESDA Provincial office Kalinga, as she tackles TESDA Programs & Services during the Peoples Organizations (POs) Convergence Training held at 503^rd Bde Headquarters, Calanan, Tabuk City, Kalinga on June 7, 2023.

TESDA offers a wide variety of programs such as skills training, assessment and certifications and scholarship programs that cater to all interested individuals who want to excel in one’s chosen field, Ms. Lomeng explained. This is particularly crucial for uniformed personnel, who are tasked with safeguarding our country’s security and upholding the law. Thus, it is essential that they are equipped with the necessary skills and information to bring them to the next level in performing their duties effectively and efficiently.

The importance of expanding the knowledge of uniformed personnel cannot be overstated. By equipping them with all TESDA programs and services they could be our voice in reaching out to those in the disadvantaged and far-flung communities. Also, an efficient tool in the development of our ELCAC barangays through them, we will be an effective agent in alleviating the country’s economic growth. With the necessary information and training, we can strengthen our country’s security and ensure that law and order are upheld.
