Besao, Mountain Province – TESDA-Mountain Province in partnership with the Office of the Municipal Agriculturist (OMAG)-Besao and the Provincial Government of Mountain Province, organized a two-day Community-Based Training (CBT) on Fish Processing on November 26-27, 2024.
Linda M. David, an industry practitioner in fish processing, led the training session of the 25 participants from various municipality sectors.
This initiative was spearheaded by OMAG-Besao to address the importance of proper fish handling and preservation in maintaining quality and nutritional value. Fish production is one of the livelihood of the farmers in the area, making this training a strategic effort to equip participants with the essential expertise and practical skills for fish processing, meeting the local market demand and capitalizing on the economic potential of fish processing. /WKMF/
