TESDA Apayao Provincial Office successfully conducted its Provincial Skills Olympics 2026 as part of its preparation for the upcoming Regional Skills Olympics in Baguio City.
The activity commenced on March 18, 2026, at the Provincial Training Center–Malama in Conner, Apayao. It was formally opened by Provincial Director James F. Ferrer. The opening program featured a Wall and Floor Tiling skills demonstration, participated in by a graduate scholar of the training center.
The competition continued on March 23, 2026, at the Apayao State College – Luna Campus, where events in Graphic Design, Cybersecurity, and Software Applications Development were conducted. Participants were students of the institution.
The Graphic Design and Cybersecurity categories had two competitors each, while Software Applications Development was conducted as a demonstration.
Based on the results evaluated by technical experts, the following participants qualified to advance to the Regional Skills Olympics: Graphic Design – Althea S. Tejano Cybersecurity – Neil M. Chu and Mr. Charles Baqueresa Software Applications Development – April Gold Aquite Wall and Floor Tiling – Rainer B. Abiertos TESDA Apayao recognizes the efforts of all participants and extends its support to the qualifiers who will represent the province in the regional competition scheduled on April 21-23 in Baguio City.
The conduct of the Provincial Skills Olympics highlights TESDA Apayao’s continued commitment to promoting technical skills excellence and preparing learners for higher-level competitions.
