In celebration of National Women’s Month, the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority – Cordillera Administrative Region (TESDA-CAR) hosted a wellness activity yesterday, March 19, 2025, at the TESDA-CAR Regional Office in Loakan, Baguio City. The event aimed to promote self-care and appreciation for the contributions of women in the workplace.

Employees of the TESDA-CAR Regional Office had a relaxing day with nail care, hair treatments, and massages provided by graduates and trainers from the Blue Phenix Skills Training Center Corporation, a TESDA-accredited Technical Vocational Institution. This activity showcased the skills and expertise of TVET graduates, highlighting their ability to deliver quality wellness services.

The wellness program was part of TESDA-CAR’s commitment to promoting holistic employee well-being, prioritizing both physical and mental wellness, which contributes to enhanced productivity and morale in the workplace. Participants expressed their appreciation for the initiative, noting that the pampering services helped them relax and feel valued.

The National Women’s Month celebration reflects TESDA-CAR’s ongoing efforts to promote gender equality and empower women through various programs and initiatives, while also providing opportunities for TVET graduates to showcase their skills.
