TESDA-CAR officials joined the international engagement activities of Mountain Province State University during the visit of Cambodian delegates, highlighting shared efforts to strengthen skills development and workforce systems on February 16, 2026.
The delegation from Cambodia was led by Yim Pichmalika, Director General of TVET, together with officials from the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training and the Ministry of Education (Higher Education). The visit provided an avenue for open exchange on education systems, quality assurance, and workforce readiness.


As part of the discussions under the Bridging Skills and Innovation initiative, ARD Glenn N. Murphy, Regional Director of TESDA-CAR, presented an overview of the TESDA framework in the Philippines, including employment and placement opportunities. PD Felixberto B. Matute Jr. shared the TVET programs registered in Mountain Province, while Cambodian officials presented their countryโs TVET quality framework.
The engagement strengthened partnerships between Philippine and Cambodian institutions and reaffirmed the shared commitment to inclusive, gender-responsive, and quality workforce development through international collaboration.
