Baguio City, January 13, 2026 — TESDA-CAR Acting Regional Director Glenn N. Murphy served as one of the discussants in the multi-disciplinary dialogue “Ba’diw ya Binnadang: A Dialogue for Unity,” held at the Dominador S. Garin Hall, College of Teacher Education, Benguet State University (BSU), as part of the university’s 40th Charter Anniversary celebration.
The dialogue focused on Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education), highlighting skills relevance, workforce readiness, and lifelong learning. In his presentation, ARD Murphy shared TESDA’s initiatives in aligning technical-vocational programs with industry needs, equipping learners with job-ready skills, and promoting lifelong learning opportunities.
The activity, themed “Shaping Minds, Transforming Communities, and Sustaining Futures,” brought together student leaders, faculty members, and college students for an exchange of ideas aimed at generating actionable strategies for education reform and nation-building. Each discussant delivered a five-minute opening statement, followed by an interactive dialogue with the participants.







Also participating in the discussion were representatives from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), Department of Education (DepEd), and Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), underscoring the importance of inter-agency collaboration in advancing quality education.
ARD Murphy was accompanied by TESDA Benguet Acting Provincial Director Arlene L. Cadalig.
TESDA-CAR reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening technical-vocational education and training (TVET) as a credible, inclusive, and responsive pathway toward quality education, employability, and lifelong learning.
