Lagawe, Ifugao – The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority – Cordillera State Institute of Technical Education (TESDA-CSITE), in collaboration with the TESDA Ifugao Provincial Office, successfully conducted a Training Induction Program (TIP) on July 29, 2025, at the 3rd Floor, CSITE Building, TESDA-CSITE Ifugao Campus, Lagawe, Ifugao.

The activity formally welcomed 55 scholars into three distinct training programs: Masonry NC I under the Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP), and Electrical Installation and Maintenance NC II as well as Small Engine Servicing Leading to Motorcycle/Small Engine Servicing (MSES) NC II under the Special Training for Employment Program (STEP).

Of the new trainees, 15 are TWSP scholars enrolled in Masonry NC I, while 40 are STEP scholars taking Electrical Installation NC II and MSES NC II. Notably, the entire group consists of male trainees except for one female participant in the MSES NC II program.

The training programs will commence simultaneously on July 31, 2025, with varying durations:

  • Masonry NC I – 16 days
  • Electrical Installation and Maintenance NC II – 25 days
  • MSES NC II – 18 days

The TIP program was hosted by Ma’am Adelina T. Ngopangop and featured a Healthy Lifestyle Lecture by School Nurse Ms. Noleen U. Pagadut, Opening Remarks from Campus Administrator Sir Eduardo O. Tamayao, and a Scholarship Orientation by Provincial Director Sir Victor P. Brioso, who detailed the benefits, responsibilities, and guidelines of the scholarship programs.

The induction successfully provided the scholars with essential information to start their training journey, while also fostering an atmosphere of motivation, discipline, and inclusivity.

TESDA-CSITE and TESDA Ifugao Provincial Office remain committed to equipping scholars with technical skills and values that will prepare them for gainful employment and lifelong learning.
