On March 25, 2025, almost 10 employees—Permanent and Job Order staff—participated in a hands-on baking skills training as part of the 2025 National Women’s Month Celebration (NWMC). The training, facilitated by Virginia R. Aswit and Chary G. Pattal, aimed to enhance culinary skills, foster camaraderie, and encourage employee livelihood opportunities.
Likewise, TESDA-CSITE Kalinga personnel and staff, along with trainers and trainees in Driving NC II, Electrical Installation and Maintenance NCII, and Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) NC II, held a special flag-raising ceremony every Monday in March, featuring an all-women cast performing the Lupang Hinirang music video. It also included GAD Advocates Prayer, reinforcing the importance of gender advocacy and inclusivity in the workplace.
These activities reflect TESDA CSITE Kalinga’s commitment to women’s empowerment, continuous learning, and gender equality.
