BAGUIO CITY (November 25, 2024)- The Cordillera State Institute of Technical Education Main Campus led by the Administrator, Mr. Felixberto B. Matute Jr., joins the observance of the 18-day campaign to end Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC) with a kickoff activity featuring a poignant orange exhibit: “Journey Toward a VAW-Free Philippines,” at CSITE Main Campus, Military Cut-off.
The exhibit highlights the work of various organizations and individuals fighting to end VAWC to make a tangible difference. It emphasizes the collective responsibility to create a safer and more equitable society for women and children.
The event will be complemented by other activities, including workshops, seminars, and community outreach programs from November 25-December 12, 2024.
This exhibit not only aims to raise awareness among faculty, staff, students, and stakeholders but also to inspire action and foster a sense of collective responsibility in ending VAWC in the Philippines. It is a journey we must all take together.
