Baguio City — TESDA Deputy Director General for TVET Partnership and Community-Based TVET, DDG Nelly Nita N. Dillera, visited the TESDA Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) Regional Office and the Cordillera State Institute of Technical Education (CSITE) Main Campuses on April 10, 2025.
Accompanied by TESDA-CAR Regional Director Balmyrson M. Valdez, CSITE Executive Director Daisy C. Bungallon, and CSITE Main Campus Administrator Felixberto Matute Jr., DDG Dillera toured the offices and training facilities to gain insights into the region’s current TVET programs and institutional capabilities.
A key point of discussion during her visit was the implementation of the Enterprise-Based Education and Training (EBET) program in the region. Regional Director Valdez shared that they are actively targeting promising industries and companies for the EBET initiatives. DDG Dillera reiterated TESDA’s commitment to forging strong industry partnerships to create work-based learning opportunities, ensuring that the training programs remain aligned with the evolving needs of the local economy.
During her visit to the CSITE Loakan Campus, DDG Dillera was shown the Institution’s Robotics Laboratory and Computerized Numerical Control (CNC) Machines, which represent CSITE’s commitment to offering modern, technology-driven training aligned with industry standards. The demonstration highlighted how TESDA CAR is embracing innovation to equip learners with in-demand technical skills.
