TESDA-Mt. Province proudly congratulates the 133 TESDA scholars of School Year 2023-2024 of the Northland Technical Institute, Inc. on their 10th Graduation Ceremony held on May 17, 2024 at the Multipurpose hall, Poblacion, Bontoc, Mt. Province.

The scholars successfully completed training programs in Driving NCII, Shielded Metal Arc Welding NCII and Bookkeeping NCIII under the Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP), Tulong Trabaho Scholarship Program (TTSP), Private Education Student Financial Assistance (PESFA) and Special Training for Employment Program (STEP).

Acting Provincial Director Melita D. Pinic commended the graduates for a job well done and extended gratitude to the partners and stakeholders for their roles and unwavering commitment and support to the Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET). “As you stand on the new brink of a new chapter, equipped with practical knowledge and hands-on expertise you’ve gained through your TVET journey, remember that you possess an invaluable set of skills. These skills will not only empower you, but they also empower industries, communities and economies”, Pinic stated.

Meanwhile, Hon. Maximo Y. Dalog Jr., Lone Representative of Mountain Province, represented by Ms. Wabilyn Lomong-oy, shared his inspirational message and awarded the starter toolkits to the 20 graduates of SMAW NCII.

In his speech as the keynote speaker, Hon. Bonifacio C. Lacwasan Jr., Provincial Governor, represented by Mr. Ernesto Bondad, remarked, “You have the skills to face the intricacy of the emerging industries. You are well equipped professionally and ethically.”

Further, special awards were presented to the graduates who demonstrates exemplary performance during the conduct of their training program until their national certification. Graduates also shared their heartfelt experiences, highlighting the transformative impact of TESDA’s programs on their personal and professional lives. //WKMF//
