Personnel from the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), led by TESDA-CAR Regional Director Balmyrson M. Valdez, paid a courtesy visit to the Office of the Provincial Governor of Mountain Province on August 6, 2025. He was joined by TESDA-Mountain Province Provincial Director Felixberto B. Matute, Jr., along with Lielanie P. Soriano (AOV, TESDA-CAR), Adolovenie M. Saguipil (Supervising TESDA Specialist, TESDA-MP), and Whitney Kere M. Focleg (AOV, TESDA-MP).

The delegation was warmly received by Provincial Administrator John K. Likigan and Executive Assistants Winston V. Calde, Florence R. Gut-omen, and Adelina Jocelyn F. Cullaling.

The visit aimed to initiate discussions on the devolution of technical-vocational education and training (TVET) functions from TESDA to the Provincial Local Government Unit (PLGU) of Mountain Province, in line with ongoing efforts to strengthen local governance and service delivery.
