Tinoc, Ifugao– TESDA Ifugao Provincial Office spearheaded the Inter-Agency Convergence Advocacy of Programs and Services under Poverty Reduction, Livelihood and Employment Cluster (PRLEC), scheduled on the following venue’s in the municipality of Tinoc, Ifugao: Brgy. Luhong (July 12, 2021), Brgy. Danggo (July 13, 2021), Brgy. Tukucan (July 14, 2021), Brgy. Binablayan (July 15, 2021) and Brgy. Wangwang (July 16,, 2021). It was attended by the NGAs, LGU’s, BLGU’s and community leaders and members.

The PRLEC advocacy drive aims to develop self-reliant and sustainable communities through harmonized and culturally responsive development programs.

In line with the Executive Order (EO) No. 70 titled Institutionalizing the Whole-of-Nation Approach in attaining Inclusive and Sustainable Peace creating the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC) and directing the adoption of a National Peace Framework, under the PRLEC.

The Technical Education and Skills Authority (TESDA) is the lead agency for the cluster along with it’s support agency the DA, DAR, DENR, DTI, DOLE, DPWH, PIA, LANDBANK, PNP and AFP that plays an important role to attain the purpose of this mandate through it’s two main strategy; 1. delivery of basic services to the vulnerable sectors and sections of society; and 2. good governance.

The PRLEC recognizes the role of each and every member and the importance of convergence and value chain programming as a strategy to effectively provide the needed intervention and other services that will benefit the identified priority municipalities and barangays in a holistic approach.

During the program it highlights on the implementation of projects and services regarding farm to market roads; crops and livestock’s; entrepreneurship and marketing; skills training support and scholarship programs; institutional development, advocacy drive in maintaining peace and order in the community.

The end outcome of this advocacy convergence drive to move on the next stage the off grounding, sustaining stage, sustainable and exit stage of implementation. Through this we will attain the sought after peace and end the long running local armed conflict in the Municipality Tinoc.
