
The TESDA Kalinga, in collaboration with the Office of the Congressman, officially held a groundbreaking ceremony for its soon-to-rise open gymnasium on August 1, 2025.
The event was led by Congresswoman Caroline Agyao, whose continued support for education and infrastructure development has been instrumental in advancing projects like this for the benefit of local youth and skilled workers. Also present were key officials from the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), headed by District Engineer Ruby Uyam, whose office will oversee the project implementation.
TESDA employees and trainees witness the strong partnership of government agencies in promoting technical-vocational education in the province.
The ceremony began with a blessing led by Rev. Fr. Melture Pasado, who offered prayers for the safety and smooth progress of the construction.
In a brief message, TESDA Kalinga Acting Provincial Director Provincial Director expressed appreciation to the stakeholders and mentioned that the new gymnasium will provide a multipurpose venue for physical fitness, institutional activities, skills demonstrations, and community engagements.
