TESDA-Mt. Province, in collaboration with the Local Government of Bauko through its Public Employment Services Office (PESO), facilitated a Community-Based Training (CBT) in Afghan Design Weaving to 80 constituents of Monamon Sur, Bauko, Mt. Province. The five-day training administered by Ms. Marcy D. Martin aims to empower participants with the traditional art of Afghan design weaving, preserving cultural heritage while providing practical skills for economic opportunities.
During the closing program held on July 10, 2024, Acting Provincial Director Melita D. Pinic congratulated the participants and encouraged them to hone their skills further and increase confidence in their ability to produce and sell woven products, potentially generating income. She also recognized the collaborative efforts of everyone who contributed to the activity’s success.
The closing program was attended by the LGU-Bauko personnel and officials headed by Mayor Randolf T. Awisan. //WKMF//
