On June 20, 2024the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) through the Provincial Training Center (PTC)-Apayao strengthen ties with 98th Infantry (Masinag) Battalion, 5th Infantry (Star) Division, Philippine Army at Malama, Conner, Apayao to improve the technical skills of soldiers and their constituents.
Major Rogelio M. Agustin and party together with Ms. Fidelia Y. Galvezo, PTC- Apayao Administrator, convened a meeting for the final drafting of Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) to institutionalize relevant and appropriate work arrangements of the partnership.
In the MOA, both parties signified their commitment to equipped the organic personnel of 98IB, 5ID,PA and qualified beneficiaries in priority areas under their area of responsibility (AOR) with relevant knowledge, skills and proper work values to become highly capable and productive yApayaos in their community.
Ms. Galvezo said that through this partnership, all qualified individuals will not only receive free technical training from the centerโs registered trainings but will also be benefitted from the free assessment that the Center is offering.
Meanwhile, both agencies commit to continue implementing and monitoring the programs under the agreement to contribute to the continues stability, professional growth and economic prosperity of the community.
