
Baguio City – 19 November 2025. TESDA Region IV-A officials visited the Cordillera State Institute of Technical Education (CSITE) to study its best efforts as the first fully amalgamated TVET institution in CAR under RA 11192. The visit forms part of the region’s preparation for TESDA’s nationwide rollout of the Amalgamated TVET System.
Executive Director Daisy C. Bungallon highlighted CSITE’s progress in governance, budgeting, and institutional development. The delegation also joined an open forum and toured CSITE’s laboratories and training facilities to see operational systems they aim to adopt.
Acting Provincial Director Imee G. Sigua expressed Region IV-A’s commitment to transitioning into an amalgamated system, noting that CSITE’s model offers a clear roadmap for a more coordinated and efficient TVET delivery.
This activity follows the benchmarking visit of TESDA-NCR last May 15, underscoring TESDA’s sustained efforts to strengthen regional preparedness for the Amalgamated TVET System.
