PREPARATION OF SEEDBED AND SOWING
After preparing the seedbed or improvised bags, seeds are sown for transplanting later. Seeds of very small sizes are usually grown in the nursery or seedbeds/bags. Pechay, cabbages or that of the leafy type vegetables are commonly sown and transplanted.
In our mini- farm, we planted pechay, eggplants, hot chillies and tomatoes. This will take at least 2 weeks until ready for transplanting. Sometimes it takes a longer duration due to the weather condition, soil type and other factors.
