QUALITY OBJECTIVES

To be the leading provider of quality TVET programs and the most effective and reliable Assessment Centers in the province.

HISTORY

 

A training institution (formerly National Manpower and Youth Council) governed by TESDA (Technical Education and Skills Development Authority) which focuses on Land Transport, Automotive, Metals and Engineering, and Construction sectors. It is located at Poblacion, Pidigan, Abra. As of this date, PTC-Abra offers training programs registered under Unified TVET Program Registration and Accreditation System (UTPRAS) and of TESDA.

  PTC-Abra is also a Competency Assessment Center in various qualifications.

 Since 1991 we were committed to gain success on leading transformation in the development of skills that are beneficial to the province and neighboring provinces. The Training Center takes pride in contributing progress and to uplift economic condition of the society and community.

As per Republic Act No. 11192 signed by President Rodrigo Roa Duterte in January 18, 2019, PTC-Abra will now be known as Cordillera State Institute of Technical Education (CSITE)-Abra Campus.

PROGRAMS AND SERVICES

APPLICATION FOR SCHOLARSHIP AND ENROLLMENT

This service pertains to the enrolment and registration of interested citizens to a certain training program offered by the training center.

Who may avail:

     – High School Graduates;

     – Working Age Population;

     – Any citizen who are qualified for a given Training Program 

STEP 1:   Inquiries on the trainings available for enrolment (see List Below)

STEP 2:   Fills out and submits Applicant’s Information Sheet and Interview Sheet

STEP 3:   Attends interview

STEP 4:   Accomplishes registration form and receives list of requirements

     1. Duly accomplished Registration Form/Enrolment Form (1 original)

     2. Form 137/ ALS Certificate/ Transcript of Records/Diploma (1 certified true photocopy)

     3. NSO/PSA Birth Certificate (1 photocopy)

     4. Marriage Certificate Philippine Statistic Authority (for married women only) (1 photocopy)

     5. Pictures, a.) Passport size, white background with name tag (2 pieces) and b.) 1 x 1, (5 pieces)

     6. Medical Certificate (1 original)

     7. Barangay Clearance (1 original)

STEP 5:      Receives admission slip

APPLICATION FOR ASSESSMENT AND CERTIFICATION

Process where TVET graduates or workers apply for assessment to obtain National Certificate (NC) or Certificate of Competency (CoC).

Who may avail: Those who are interested to take assessment in the different qualifications offered by the TESDA Training Institutions

1.      Inquiries on assessment schedule

2.      Submits Application Form with the complete requirements:

     1.      Fully filled up Application Form (1 original)

     2.      Self-Assessment Guide

     3.      Picture, passport size, white background with collar and name tag (2 pieces)

     4.      Birth Certificate (1 photocopy)

     5.      Employment Certificate (1 original); and/or

     6.      Training Certificate (1 photocopy/ each)

     7.      Accomplished Consent Form and Waiver

3.      Secures Order of Payment

4.      Pays assessment fee (for walk-in applicants)

5.      Submits Application Form in which Official Receipt Number is indicated

6.      Receives Admission slip and assessment schedule

Dormitory Services

Who may avail: Trainees, Job Order Personnel and others referred by TESDAns

STEP 1: Inquires room availability

STEP 2: Fills out and submits Registration Form

STEP 3. Receives the Order of Payment and pays the dormitory fee

STEP 4. Presents the OR to the Dormitory Manager

STEP 5. Checks in to designated room
