The Provincial Office of TESDA Apayao in partnership with the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology Luna Apayao conducted a Community Based Training (CBT) in haircutting for the staff of BJMP and Persons Deprived of Libertry (PDL) on September 30 to October 4, 2022, at BJMP , Poblacion, Luna, Apayao

The skills enhancement training will help the PDL while they are still behind bars and prepare them for their reintegration into the mainstream of society upon their release.

Community-Based Training is primarily addressed to the poor and marginal groups, those who cannot access or are not accessible to formal training provisions. They have low skills, limited management abilities, and have few economic options.
