The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) – Mt. Province, in partnership with the Provincial Government of Mountain Province, led the 2024 Labor Day Celebration with a theme, “Sa Bagong Pilipinas: Manggagawang Pilipino, Kabalikat at Kasama sa Pag-asenso,” was attended by local and national line agencies held at the Provincial Plaza, Bontoc, Mt. Province on May 1, 2024.

In support of the activity, TESDA-Mt. Province together with its various Technical Vocational Institutions (TVIs) and the CSITE-Mt. Province Campus joins through the provision of Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) enrollment to the participating constituents. Training support funds were awarded to TESDA scholars with various qualifications, wherein ceremonial awarding of cheques took place.

In addition, free haircutting, manicure and pedicure services were offered in coordination with the TVET graduates and personnel from the Philippine National Police (PNP) and Provincial Mobile Force Company. //WKMF//
