With the initiative of Acting Provincial Director Arlene L. Cadalig, the meeting also includes Capability Training for the attendees. For the first quarter, the attendees learn and try to make coffee through a Coffee Appreciation and Awareness, courtesy of CSITE-Main and their Barista trainer, Mr. Danilo M. Mamaril.

The 1st CTEC meeting aims to showcase the emerging skills within the municipalities of Benguet and identify ways how to market and train said skills to their constituents, providing support to the unemployed sector. The lack of Community-based Trainers within the province of Benguet is also addressed in the meeting.

The said meeting is also the avenue for TESDA to report on updates and accomplishments of the province to the partner stakeholders in the municipalities. The CTECs also share updates from previous forums and other activities held within their areas.

Before closing the meeting, TESDA Benguet awards the CTECs for their unending support and efforts to bring TESDA’s programs and services to far-flung communities. TESDA also acknowledges the service done by the previous CBT focal, Ms. Delia W. Lapay, and her contributions to the advocacy of Community-based Training.
