LOOK | On February 13, 2024, at BJMP CAR Mt. Province District Jail, Bilibid Compound, Barangay Caluttit, Bontoc, Mountain Province, a total of 39 Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) and 10 BJMP uniformed personnel graduated in Bread and Pastry Production NC II and Tile Setting NC II.
In partnership with MPDJ, the activity was graced by the presence of the Regional Director of BJMP-CAR, JSSUPT Kenneth A. Bid-ing and the MPDJ Warden, JSINSP Bartolome B. Tresmanio and staff. The Interim Executive Director of CSITE, Ms. Daisy C. Bungallon, accompanied by Ms. Proserphina P. Pacyado, the Campus Administrator of CSITE, MPC and APD Melita D. Pinic of TESDA Mountain Province Provincial Office, the Hon. Bonifacio C. Lacwasan Jr. the Governor of Mountain Province was with the Hon. Vice Governor Francis Tauli the Hon. Henry Bastian one of the Provincial Board Member of Mountain Province and the Governors Executive Assistant, Mr. Winston Calde attended the graduation.
The graduates were happy to receive their training and national certificates. One PDL shared that the skills and knowledge they acquired during the training could be used when they are out. On the other hand, JO1 Juwena M. Pawid mentioned, โBy having a training and passing the assessment, I am sure that I can prepare breads, pastries, and cakes for my family on any occasion. With this, I am very confident in sharing my knowledge in baking.โ
The graduation was followed by a signing of MOA that strengthened the partnership of the BJMP-MPDJ and the TESDA-CSITE, MPC in providing skills development training to the PDL and MPDJ uniformed personnel.
