TESDA Abra, under the leadership of Provincial Director Jimmicio S. Daoaten, continues to deliver its mandate and services through the TESDA sa Barangay in Tagodtod, Lagangilang through the Barangay Tagodtod Fiesta with the theme, ‘‘Panagkaykaysa: Tulbek ti Agtultuloy nga Progreso’’ on February 9, 2024, at the Tagodtog Covered Court.

Mr. Amado F. Jimenez and Mr. Lenen Cris P. Garbin trained two (2) batches of trainees composed of forty-four (44) residents of Lagangilang in Driving. The training was held from January 19 to February 8, 2024. On the other hand, Mr. Jordan Rey Belleza capacitated twenty-five (25) trainees in Bread Making, Cake Making, and Pastry Making leading to Bread and Pastry Production NC II on February 1-8, 2024.

The Graduation Ceremony of the TESDA trainees was held on February 9, 2024, and was attended by TESDA Abra Provincial Director Jimmicio S. Daoaten, who also served as the Guest of Honor. In his speech, he commended the relentless efforts of the Barangay Local Government Unit of Tagodtod headed by Barangay Captain Portia Abaya-Pagaling, in making a significant impact on the lives of the residents of Tagodtog and the rest of the neighboring barangays through the provision of livelihood training. Director Daoaten assured that TESDA is more than willing to extend its services and offer more training for the enhancement of their skills.

Dr. Casey Magne Dumlao, President of Abra Dental Chapter, together with Dr. Marivic Omli, Dr. Frances Leainne Bayugo-Garro, Dr. Rhandee Paderes, Abra Medical Aossication through Dr. Rhoda Dukinal, Dr. Airel Martin, Dr. Apolinar Turqueza, Jollibee Bangued through General Manager Juan Carlo Mapa, Philippine Red Cros Abra Chapter through Ms. Marjorie Castañeda, Highway Patrol Group led by Police Major Maria Alicia Valera, 1st Abra Police Mobile Force Company led by Police Executive Master Sergeant Engel Perez, 1504th MC Regional Mobile Force Battalion led by Police Captain Dennis Avillanoza, Special Action Force, led by Police Lieutenant Renzo Troy Terrado, 24th Infantry Wildcat Battalion, led by Staff Sergeant Rafael Dubduban were also in attendance and contributed to the success of the activity through the provision of respective services and mandates.
