TESDA Abra headed by Provincial Director John B. Adawey in partnership with the Provincial Government of Abra (PGA) spearheaded by Governor Dominic B. Valera and Municipal Government of Malibcong led by Mayor Rhea M. Bacuyag conducted a culminating activity after having completed the 20 days of Community-Based Training (CBT) in Sewing Crafts and Dressmaking. SBM David Balungay on hehalf of Hon. Bacuyag welcomed the TESDA Representatives, PGA representatives, Men-in-Uniform, graduates and other distinguished guests. He also commended the Provincial Government of Abra and TESDA Abra for a fruitful partnership with them in the Municipal Government for an efficient delivery of government services brought to their locality.

Mr. Conrado Rosvelito R. Velasco, trainer of the said competency presented the candidates for completion to TESDA Representative, Ms. Maricon F. Taclaoan, TESD Specialist II and CBT Focal approved the said candidates on behalf of PD Adawey. Ms. Taclaoan shared the services of TESDA particularly in CBT for the people that will serve as a source of income to augment their monthly expenses. Ms. Marites V. Bobila, Training Coordinator and Local Economic Development and Investment Promotion Officer (LEDIPO) . According to her, this is the government response as part of the Whole-of-Nation Approach to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (ELCAC) especially in the identified areas such as Malibcong.

On behalf of the 20 graduates, Private First Class (PFC) Raymon Galo of the 24th Infantry Battalion, 7th Infantry Division, Philippine Army said their impression on the just concluded CBT training on Sewing Craft and Dressmaking. PFC Galo expressed his gratitude to the municipal, provincial and national government for a successful training. As a response from Mr. Velasco to the graduates, he said they excelled in the sewing craft and dressmaking and are ready for the advanced training.
