Thirty-six (36) scholars from the Philippine Institute of Culinary Arts joyously celebrated their graduation at Eurotel Baguio, Baguio City, on February 17, 2024, 16 of which took Cookery NC II and the remaining took Bread and Pastry Production NC II.
The scholars of Cookery NC II took the Special Training for Employment Program (STEP), while the others are beneficiaries of Tsuper Iskolar, designed to aid current Tsupers or beneficiaries of Tsupers affected by the Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program (PUVMP).
Ms. Louise Doctolero-Wakat presented the graduates to the TESDA Benguet Representative, Mr. Irvin Mabli, which he had confirmed by the authority of Acting Provincial Director Arlene L. Cadalig.
Mr. Mabli challenged the graduates to pursue greater heights in the tourism industry. He encourages the graduates to be trained and certified to qualifications within the tourism sector for their personal development.
The representative of DOTR-CAR, Engr. Elmer Mendoza Jr. also inspired the graduates through his speech. He and Mr. Mabli had awarded the certificates to the graduates.
The graduation rites also showcased the accomplishments of the graduates, highlighting their daily progress by showing their finished products and daily activities.
