TESDA – Mt. Province under the Leadership of its Acting Provincial Director Melita D. Pinic presides over the 1st Quarter Community Training and Employment Coordinator (CTEC) Meeting on January 30, 2024 at Chico Breeze, Eyeb, Poblacion, Bontoc, Mt. Province.

Ms. Christine M. Oliquiano, Senior TESDS, presented the Provincial Technical Education and Skills Development Plan (PTESDP) and the CTEC action plan of the 10 municipalities of the province wherein the skills training needs of each municipality are in line with the priority skills identified in the PTESDP. Also, updates on the training for Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Treasures were highlighted.

Meanwhile, APD Pinic discussed the guidelines and procedures for program registration and Competency Assessment to include the updates on the NTTC Verification App.

CTECs play a vital role as the TVET advocate and local catalysts between TESDA and the LGU in responding to the local skills needs and shall serve as essential conduits for technical education and training, hence, be equipped with proper capability-building programs to be able to perform their duties and responsibilities as a partner in the implementation of TVET most specifically the “TESDA sa Barangay Program”. //WKMF//
